The profound innocence of children wells up and spills in these eyes where pain is their lot and though they show the courage of endurance the only question to answer is "When will it end?'. Can you tell them that?

This image will be used as book cover and as an integral part of a new upcoming book of poems by a former collaborator and a woman I consider a sister, Brenda Mitchell Walker. It plays back to her childhood days and memories of playmates in those unforgotten days.
