An Illustrious era.
Bill Russell, Curt Flood, Vada Pinson,
Frank Robinson
attended Mack, mighty McClymonds high
school, prior to the time that Aaron and his brother Fritz
played on championship basketball teams
that set
a national high school record win
streak of over 60 games, all in the early
sixties.
The fame of the Pointer
Brothers preceded the fame of their siblings the Pointer Sisters.
A baseball career followed in the Houston
organization where he spent
young years with fellow Oaklander Joe Morgan, then some years
in Japan.
An NFL
game
official and soon to retire, it was all done with great
grace.
