Shikisha was a vibrant group from South Africa that was rising like a rocketship to international fame until one of their principal members passed away. My friend BJ was inserted, not so much as a replacement but because perhaps in another place in time it may have been her rightful place. Shikisha, 'The Ladies in Red', joins the ranks of some of the mighty performers that have come from that tortured country that is even now trying to set right things long gone wrong.
